GPAC develops and creates with its clients integral planning services and strategies for green building projects and accompanies the planning and construction phases ensuring high quality standards. Our team advises its clients during and manages the certification process for the green building labels LEED and BREEAM and beginning in 2009 the German DGNB label. Together, GPAC defines with its clients, concrete goals for the project or building. Potential for saving and optimising energy use are identified and individual strategies for realization are developed. GPAC conducts numerous experiments to evaluate and optimise the interior climate and user comfort levels. GPAC accompanies the construction stage of the project ensuring the high quality standards set and controls the efficiency and effectiveness at the time of start up and during operation. This process guarantees that the goals set are also met. Saegeling Medizintechnik
Pilot project Saegeling Medizintechnik As a member of the DGNB (German Council of Sustainable Building), GPAC is taking an active role in creating the evaluation criteria for existing buildings. The Saegeling Medizintechnik office building, built and designed by GPAC is one of the 15 pilot projects for the DGNB sustainable certificate program (pilot phase 2009).
Abu Dhabi
Certification LEED Criteria for Sustainability. GPAC integrated the LEED criteria for sustainability in the current design process for several skyscrapers in Abu Dhabi and the pilot project Modular Building for the University in Algier. The design and construction of the project is based on a natural cooling system which utilizes ground-source heat pumps and regulated air currents.
