Energy efficiency in buildings in New Zealand Technology Showcase

Introduction

Begin: 04/07/2018
Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Field of application/technology: Efficiency in buildings
Country of implementation: New Zealand
Target area: Oceania/Australia

The German-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce is organising a technology showcase of several low energy construction projects presenting innovative and energy efficient technologies "Made in Germany".

The New Zealand government supports development in sustainable technological solutions in buildings through its “Energy Strategy 2011-2021” with the overarching goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The utilization of innovative German efficient technology can help to reduce energy costs and to promote climate friendly technologies.

This one-day event consists of three parts, in which selected German energy efficiency technologies are presented:

• Presentation of installed technologies, building methods and solutions during an expert workshop
• On-site visits of one or two selected projects that demonstrate German energy solutions in buildings
• Networking event

This project is funded by the German Energy Solutions Initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and is organised by the German-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce.
