Self-supply from renewables (with a focus on hybrid systems) in Bolivia Fact-finding Mission

Introduction

A virtual fact-finding mission for company representatives and decision-makers from Bolivia to Germany from 13-16 June 2022 will enable you to gather first-hand information on technologies and solutions in the field of decentralized energy production and to establish business contacts with German companies. The fact-finding mission includes a networking event and on-site visits of best-practice projects.

Begin: 13/06/2022
End: 16/06/2022
Location: Online
Field of application/technology: Energy generation
Country of implementation: Bolivia
Target area: America, South America

Meet German companies

The networking event and information seminar will be held on June, 13 via Zoom. The event provides insight into the current situation, trends and prospects for German energy solutions with regard to technologies and solutions from the field of decentralized energy production. You have the chance to exchange knowledge with German experts and company representatives.
On the following days, on-site visits to see best-practice technology applications and/or measures are planned for you in Bolivia.
You will benefit from a comprehensive information and visitor program designed to foster the transfer of expertise.

Representatives from state-owned and private companies, ministries, public authorities and energy associations who want to gain a first-hand insight into German energy solutions are welcome to join the fact-finding-mission.

Energy solutions made in Germany

In order to get more people interested in the energy turnaround and to promote the expansion of renewables, there are laws and various subsidies in Germany; self-supply from plants for the generation of electricity from renewable energies is financially privileged. In other cases, too, the amount of the levy is lowered compared to electricity purchased "from the grid," reflecting the special role of self-supply. The Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) 2021 provides for innovations and expanded design options in order to tap further potential, particularly in renewable self-supply through solar energy, by means of targeted incentives (for both larger and smaller plants), while at the same time keeping costs in check.
