To our calendarA fact-finding mission for company representatives and decision-makers from Cuba to Germany from 19-23 September 2022 will enable you to gather first-hand information on the generation and use of renewable hydrogen in industries, buildings and for storage. The participation in the event will establish business contacts with German companies. The fact-finding mission includes networking events, on-site visits of best-practice projects and a visit to the leading trade fair on decarbonization and sustainable technologies decarbxpo in Düsseldorf.
Representatives from state-owned and private companies, grid operators, ministries, public authorities and energy associations who want to gain a first-hand insight into German energy solutions are welcome to join the fact-finding-mission.
The networking event and information seminar will be held on 20 September 2022 in Frankfurt. The event provides insight into the current situation, trends and prospects for German energy solutions with regard to the use of renewable hydrogen in industries, buildings and transport sector. You have the chance to exchange knowledge with German experts and company representatives.
On the following days, on-site visits to see best-practice technology applications and/or measures are planned for you in western Germany. You will benefit from a comprehensive information and visitor programme designed to foster the transfer of expertise.
Germany has a large demand for hydrogen-based energy sources, which cannot be met in the future by domestic production alone. Imports from non-European countries will play an increasingly important role. This requires the expansion of infrastructure in non-EU countries as well as the corresponding personnel training.
With the help of German technologies and services for the production of green hydrogen, the conditions can be created to position Cuba as a hydrogen producer and supplier in the long term. The fact finding mission will focus on the experiences that energy providers, public authorities and private companies have gained in establishing this hydrogen infrastructure.
