Project Development Programme

Industrial heat & cold supply in Kenya German Training Week within the Project Development Programme (PDP)

Introduction

The German Training Week (GTW) offers energy managers and decision-makers from companies with concrete investment plans a practical platform to advance their energy projects.

Begin: 19/05/2026
End: 21/05/2026
Location: Nairobi
Field of application/technology: Efficiency in industry and commerce
Country of implementation: Kenya
Target area: Africa, East Africa

The German Training Weeks (GTW) offer energy managers and decision-makers from companies with concrete investment plans a practical platform to further develop projects related to industrial heating and cooling.

The training focuses on real investment cases and addresses key questions around cost-efficient, reliable and low-emission thermal energy supply. Participants discuss technical and economic options for industrial heating and cooling systems, including process heat, cooling demand, energy efficiency measures, system integration and operational optimization.

A central element of the GTW is the direct exchange with German solution providers experienced in industrial thermal supply. These companies present concrete technologies and approaches and engage in in-depth discussions with participants on technical feasibility, economic viability and possible implementation pathways.

Who should participate?

Energy managers and decision-makers from companies with concrete investment projects in industrial heating and cooling, as well as other relevant representatives of the local industrial and energy sector who are exploring practical solutions and potential technology partners for upcoming thermal energy investments.

The training is free of charge.
