Welcome to the current edition of the newsletter of the Germany Energy Solutions Initiative. In the bi-monthly editions we keep you up to date with the latest information about German energy solutions. Furthermore you will learn about opportunities to meet German business partners around the world. This newsletter service is provided by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and is free of charge.

You are interested in energy generation with renewable energies, looking for solutions for a sustainable and reliable energy infrastructure or are passionate about energy efficiency? Then mark your calendar - the dates for the events of the German Energy Solutions Initiative in 2019 were just published. Meet innovative German companies in your country during conferences and B2B-meetings on our AHK trade missions or by approaching the German booth on one of our participations in international trade fairs. You can get a first-hand experience on outstanding showcases and best practices of German technologies and solutions on one of the many fact finding missions to Germany, too.Why don't you have a look into our calendar and pick the events most interesting for you?
Visit the German joint booth at The Green Expo - Clean Energy and Efficiency in Mexico-City (September 04-06) and at Kazakhstan International Powerexpo Almaty 2018 (October 23-25). There, you can meet German companies and learn about their latest developments in the field of renewable energies and energy efficiency. Furthermore, our experts will answer all your questions about the German energy transition, connect you with local representatives like the bilateral chamber of industry and commerce and inform you on how to find the right German business partner.
It is currently difficult to use the shell of a building to generate energy. A project funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) is trying to change this. The solution: copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS) solar modules integrated into the building.
The international cruise industry is growing – and with it the amount of unused organic waste that is being discharged into the oceans. A research project is seeking to develop an innovative technology to make use of this organic waste to produce energy. The hygiene regulations in force, in particular, must be complied with.
