From 13 to 15 May 2019, private company representatives and decision-makers from Iran are invited to a fact-finding mission to Germany (Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, München) on the subject of self-supply with renewable energies and energy efficiency for the industry´.
The mission shall enable the Iranian representatives to gather first-hand information on energy efficient technologies for industrial production and showcase business models for self-supply with renewable energies in commercial and industrial complexes. The delegation is also invited to establish business contacts with German companies.
In the morning of 13 May 2019, a German-Iranian information seminar and networking event will take place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) of Karlsruhe. German participants with existing business relations to Iran in the renewable energy sector as well as legal experts will discuss the current situation, trends and prospects for German -Iranian trade issues in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency. Legal clarifications will be made on the functioning of the US-sanctions and the EU Blocking Statute. In the afternoon, during a networking event, German companies are invited to present their products and services to the delegation.
The following day, 14 May, the Iranian delegation is invited to company-visits to see best-practice technology applications on subjects like solar cooling, self-supply with solar energy in the food industry, research on new proceedings on energy efficient technologies and energy management systems. We are also planning a one-day visit of the Intersolar Europe Exhibition on 15 May 2019.

Representatives from state-owned and private companies, grid operators, ministries, public authorities and energy associations who want to gain a first-hand insight into German energy solutions are welcome to join the fact-finding-mission.
