The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) is participating with a German Pavilion within the scope of the German Energy Solutions Initiative at the African Utility Week for the 5th time. German companies will present their products and solutions to the African market within an own booth. Also, on 15th May a German Day will be held with a reception by the German Consulate General Cape Town with presentations of the German companies and networking opportunities.

The 19th edition of the African Utility Week in 2019 has evolved into the leading event for the issues power generation, renewable energies and energy efficiency for South Africa and the sub-Saharan region.The previous edition of the show in May 2018 hosted more than 6,411 participants from 84 nations - among them 34 African countries – and more than 300 exhibitors. The show is flanked by a high class conference discussing the current topics of the energy industry. Site visits will give you a deep insight into the African Utility Sector.
